I used to have a dog (Kittu) in my neighborhood who died because he was turned into food by the people living two or three blocks away.
You think that's sad?
Well what's sadder is that till date, this particular incident haunts me whenever I want to adopt a pet for myself.
But not everyone is familiar with a traumatic story such an mine, so let's move on.

Indeed, the warmth and solicitude that we receive from our pets is Unrivaled and Unconditional. Many of us have seen and experienced some of the most remarkable and curious instances which continue to set animals apart from humans.
The anthology, "Unconditional : Pets over Peeps", more or less orbits around the above idea. It consists of several heartfelt stories and poems which serenade about the love and loyalty that our adorable non-human companions never fail to impart.
Srashti Behure, our compiler for this anthology, has
endeavored for more than a month to bring this project into all it's glory. Her team of ten phenomenal writers, namely Rakshetsa, Ichha Sharma, Sony Sehgal, Divya Shetty, Aditya Kulkarni, Sahyira Roy, Jemima. E, Visalakshi, V. Brindha and Mohini Siniswar, and their writeups deserve all the praise and recognition.
